24/7 Continuous Operation
Hardware rated for uninterrupted operation. Redundant architecture at every tier. Designed for environments that can never stop: hot-swap components are replaced without shutting the system down.
Video Wall Controller
The WallNext Video Wall Controller is a hardware device designed and assembled in Europe. Video signals from physical and IP sources are processed through hardware-accelerated rendering, and distributed up to 64 displays.
Every specification in the WallNext Video Wall Controller reflects the expertise of a team that has designed and installed over 200 control rooms worldwide. Signal fidelity, IP throughput and continuous operation are hardware requirements, not configuration options.
Hardware rated for uninterrupted operation. Redundant architecture at every tier. Designed for environments that can never stop: hot-swap components are replaced without shutting the system down.
Drive up to 64 monitors from a single system. Modular hardware architecture scales from a single display to multiple video walls without additional licensing.
Up to 16 physical 4K/UHD@60Hz inputs on a single controller unit via Matrox Mura capture cards. Every connector captures the signal at native resolution and frame rate, with no compression.
Hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding of IP video streams at full 4K resolution. Full control over compression quality.
Hardware-accelerated processing of up to 100 Full HD@60Hz IP streams simultaneously at system level. No dropped frames under load.
Physical connectors and IP video streams coexist in a single unified source environment. Existing AV infrastructure is preserved while IP sources are added without disruption.
Full 24-bit colorimetry at full frame rate across every output. Visual accuracy that meets the precision requirements of security, utilities and mission-critical command environments.
Standard Windows applications run and display directly alongside live video sources on the video wall. No virtualisation layer, no compatibility constraints.

WallNext Video Wall Controller
A video wall controller is a hardware unit that captures video signals from multiple sources, processes them and distributes the output to the individual displays that form a video wall. It manages input routing, layout composition and display synchronisation. The WallNext Video Wall Controller adds software-defined orchestration, an operator workspace environment and IP streaming to the traditional hardware controller architecture.
The Video Wall Controller PRO is built around Matrox Mura capture and display cards, a professional-grade hardware platform developed for broadcast and mission-critical AV environments. The Mini PC models (LITE, STD and WorkSpace) use Intel-based hardware optimised for the WallNext Player rendering engine. All models run a pre-configured Windows operating system with the full WallNext software platform pre-installed.
LITE is a compact Mini PC for single displays or LED walls with one UHD output. STD is a Mini PC for small video walls with four UHD outputs and higher IP stream capacity. PRO is a modular rack unit built on Matrox Mura hardware, supporting 4 to 16 UHD outputs per unit with physical input capture, designed for medium and large video walls. WorkSpace is a Mini PC dedicated to multi-monitor operator stations running WallNext Workspace.
The Video Wall Controller is the rendering node. It runs WallNext Player, the hardware-accelerated engine that drives video wall displays. WallNext Server, the orchestration layer, runs separately on a standard server and manages sources, layouts and users across the installation. WallNext Workspace, the operator environment, runs on standard Windows workstations. All three communicate over standard TCP/IP networks with no proprietary cabling.
The Video Wall Controller PRO handles physical inputs natively through Matrox Mura capture cards, supporting up to 16 UHD physical inputs per unit via DP and HDMI connectors. All Video Wall Controller models manage IP video streams, with hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding up to 4K resolution and simultaneous support for up to 100 HD streams at system level. Physical and IP sources appear together in the same unified source library within WallNext.
